Founded in 2015, Lucknow Game Dev has grown from a small indie team into a respected game development studio with a global footprint. Based in the cultural capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, we draw inspiration from both traditional Indian artistry and modern global gaming trends.

Our Development Process

Concept & Design

We begin with extensive market research, brainstorming sessions, and concept art. Our team creates detailed game design documents (GDDs), storyboards, and prototype mockups. This phase includes defining core mechanics, narrative arcs, character profiles, and visual style guides.

Pre-production & Planning

Technical specifications are finalized, including engine selection (Unity, Unreal Engine, or custom), architecture planning, and asset pipelines. We establish milestones, allocate resources, and set up version control and project management systems (Jira, Trello).

Production & Development

Our developers, artists, and designers work in agile sprints to build the game. This includes programming core systems, creating 2D/3D assets, implementing audio, and integrating gameplay features. Regular internal playtests ensure alignment with the design vision.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Rigorous testing is conducted across multiple devices and platforms. We perform functional testing, balance testing, usability testing, and compatibility checks. Bugs are tracked and resolved systematically. Beta testing with select user groups provides valuable feedback.

Launch & Post-launch

We coordinate with platform holders (Steam, App Store, Google Play) for release, implement marketing campaigns, and monitor launch metrics. Post-launch, we provide ongoing support, updates, new content (DLC), and community management to keep players engaged.
